Rest Changed Me
Over the past couple years, I’ve been learning what it means to start again — not from scratch, but from experience. I was running on fumes. My body was in pain, my spirit heavy. I had been working non-stop for years — always moving, always fighting — and I knew I needed a different kind of fuel. Not just for my body, but for my soul.
That’s what led me here.
Coffee has always been part of my life. I grew up watching my Mami start the day with a warm cup of coffee and end the afternoon with another — always shared with some pan and good friends or family. These weren’t rushed moments. They were how we caught up on life, how we made space for each other. Whenever someone came to visit, the first thing we did was put on a pot of café & set the table.
Tía Erika’s Coffee is an extension of that tradition. Sourced from small farms in Latin America and roasted locally to preserve their rich flavor — chocolate, brown sugar, apple, hazelnut — these blends carry more than taste. They carry memory. My hope is that each cup offers you a moment to feel grounded, to feel at home, and to share space with the people you love.
If you’ve been following my journey, thank you.
If you’re new here, welcome.
Either way, I’m so glad to share this next chapter with you.
Let’s drink to new beginnings —
– Erika
